Homegrown (film)

Homegrown is a 1998 American comedydrama thriller film. It was directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal and starred Billy Bob Thornton, John Lithgow, and Hank Azaria.

The film was written years earlier, but its subject matter frightened film companies. It wasnt until the legalization of medical marijuana in California that the film was given a green light. The film still had a limited theatrical run.The song playing in the background during the harvest party is entitled Great Escape by the group Katies Dimples. ........
